PERTH'S FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS
The Festival of Lights, a celebration of the coming Christmas season, is held adjacent to the Crystal Palace (31 Basin Lane), at the Tay Basin in downtown Perth, 1st. Friday in December.
There is a bonfire and sing-a-long of your favorites Christmas carols, entertainment, refreshments and collections of non-perishable food items for the Build-a-Mountain-of-Food campaign, in support of The Table Community Food Centre's Good Food Bank ( offers warm chili, a ginger cookie and a drink for any donation).
Fireworks take place over the Drummond Street bridge at 6:30pm sharp, followed by the mass lighting of 34 Christmas Trees in the Crystal Palace.
