On April 18th, 1816, Perth established as a military settlement. The land for the settlement was obtained from the Algonkians.

  • The Canadian Stone Carving Festival: stonecarvers at the Fairgrounds.

  • A Parade: through town on Saturday, July 23 will wrap up in front of town hall.
  • Blue Rodeo: Saturday, July 23, 2016 at the Perth Fairgrounds.
  • A Military Tattoo: in Stewart Park and will feature pipes and drums bands and more.
  • An Ecumenical Service: at the Stewart Park stage Sunday afternoon for a ecumenical service.

(3) 19th Annual Perth Garlic Festival: August 13 & 14th, 2016

  • Over 70 Garlic, Artisans and Food Vendors on grounds and in Commercial Building at the Perth Fairgrounds
  • Saturday 9am to 5pm
  • Sunday 9am to 4pm
  • Admission: Adults $5 --Children under 12 free
